چکیده

The study aimed to compare between dynamic implant valve (DIVA) and the crestal ballooning techniques in elevating maxillary sinus membrane (MSM) conjunction with simultaneous implantation. Patients methods: 20-patient prospective clinical cohort study. Ages ranged from 42 53 years, had atrophic edentulous maxillae posterior region. To determine status, patients were investigated utilizing intraoral photographs CBCT series. Closed Sinus Lifting done compared DIVA on who randomly separated into two equal groups. predicted research variables intraoperative primary stability level of lift. main outcome factors secondary Osseointegration (ISQ) amount bone height gain. Results: Before surgery, Balloon groups mean heights 5.8 ± 0.67mm 6.8 0.86mm , which increased significantly 12.8± 0.53 10.8± 0.67 after 6 months postoperatively. ISQ for 39.0± 2.16 40.0±2.16 preoperatively, respectively, 71.7±1.60 70.4±1.27 nine postoperatively was higher at 3 group.

Implant survival rates after maxillary sinus augmentation.

Implant therapy in the atrophic posterior maxilla becomes challenging in the presence of reduced maxillary bone height. Sinus augmentation can be performed for resolving this condition prior to implant placement. The aim of this article was therefore to evaluate implant survival rates in the grafted sinus taking into account the influence of the implant surface, graft material, and implant plac...

Endoscopic and ultrasonographic evaluation of the maxillary sinus after combined sinus floor augmentation and implant insertion.

OBJECTIVE The aim of our study was a radiographic, endoscopic, and ultrasound follow-up of the maxillary sinus comparing 2 techniques of sinus floor augmentation. STUDY DESIGN Sonograms, radiographs (Waters' view) of the sinuses, and endoscopy served before and during surgery to evaluate the maxillary sinus. One week after the operation, ultrasound and radiograph follow-up (Waters' view) were...

Comparison of Implant Stability in Sinus Lift Surgery Using Autogenous Versus Allogeneic Bone Grafts

Background and aim: The most common method of increasing implant stability in the posterior maxilla comprises the reinforcement of bone height using bone grafts in sinus lift surgery. The purpose of the present study was to compare autogenous and allogeneic bone grafts in implant stability after open sinus lift surgery. Materials and methods: This split-mouth clinical trial compared the implant...

Rabbit maxillary sinus augmentation model with simultaneous implant placement: differential responses to the graft materials

PURPOSE This study was performed to establish an experimental rabbit model for single-stage maxillary sinus augmentation with simultaneous implant placement. METHODS Twelve mature New Zealand white rabbits were used for the experiments. The rabbit maxillary sinuses were divided into 3 groups according to sinus augmentation materials: blood clot (BC), autogenous bone (AB), and bovine-derived h...
